Rest in peace Dr Ray Dolby. You will be missed

Back in the day, when I was very young, I used to record my favourite songs on cassette tape. My cassette tape recorder had Dolby B Noise Reduction (NR) on my tape decks to deal with the hiss of playback. Back then, while I was studying sound engineering, we used to use Dolby A on the multitrack and even Dolby SR (Spectral Recordings) much later on. This man was responsible for music that sounded good…with his company Dolby Laboratories. Rest in peace Dr Dolby. You will be missed.
