Manchester United – 3, Aston Villa – 1

In an hour from now, we will be facing Aston Villa at Old Trafford. Let us see what happens then.

********** EDITOR’S NOTE **********

It was a pretty boring match until Ander Herrera managed to defy Guzan to put us up in extra time in the first half. That is how we finished and after that, we were looking forward to the second half. The second half started OK and there were a few attempts at the goal of Aston Villa from Fellaini and Ashley Young. Rooney even tried a bicycle kick like that famous one against Manchester City but alas, it was not to be. However, that changed when Di Maria came on. On the left flank, he sent a ball to Rooney who trapped it, with a half-volley and rocketed it into the goal! I was beside myself with glee. That goal was a beauty! However, a couple of minutes later, Benteke scored. Manchester United 2, Aston Villa 1. Not good. I kept hoping for another goal and will you believe it? In extra time of the second half, Ander Herrera scored again! 3 – 1! I was beside myself with joy at that point. And that is how they finished. A precious 3 points
