No value-for-money at Toast Box

My wife had a couple of Toast Box vouchers so we thought that we would go and check it out to see if it was OK. For just the two of us, the meal came up to $15. My wife paid with two vouchers worth $5 each, making it $10. I paid the balance $5 in cash. My wife ate a chicken curry and I had a Hainanese pork chop. The Hainanese pork chop was served with pickled vegetables, chicken rice and some chilli sauce. The pork chop was a piece of breaded chicken that they shoved in a deep-fryer. The food was not the greatest I had tasted and the service was not the best. They forgot my wife’s barley water. So in short, for the price you pay and get hawker centre service, it just ain’t worth it
