Leisure Park Kallang and their infamous “NO ENTRY” sign

This was all over the news yesterday. Apparently, when some National Day Parade participants and personnel taking part in it ran to the Leisure Park Kallang to escape from the rain, Leisure Park Kallang put this sign up. Of all the bloody nerve. In any case, according to The Straits Times:

A security guard told The Sunday Times that the sign had been put up around 10am after soldiers drenched by a morning downpour ran for cover in the mall, making the floor wet. She said the management feared that other patrons would slip and fall, adding that the sign was taken down before lunchtime.

Yeah. Right. These soldiers are taking part in a parade that marks the nation’s independence. These personnel run into the mall to escape the rain, perhaps fearing that damp uniforms will give them a chill and you go and turn them away like this? Well done Leisure Park Kallang. I am NOT going to patronise your place. As far as I am concerned, you and your management can go to hell.
