Today, we celebrate Easter Sunday. To us Catholics, it is a festival and holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day of his burial after his crucifixion by Romans at Calvary. many people will be celebrating with Easter eggs, which have nothing to do with Easter actually, but is merely traditional. That, and hot, crossed buns. I suppose some people think that these buns, which have the cross “imprinted” on them, should be consumed during Easter. From a religious perspective, it is not relevant. But no matter what, Jesus has risen. Alleluia!
