Rest in peace Prince Rogers Nelson aka Prince

I got a very rude shock when I awakened this morning and found out that Prince, aged 57, had died in his Paisley Park estate. I remember when I first heard his song Delirious, I was hooked but it was not till the iconic album, Purple Rain, with his band The Revolution, that I seriously started to be a big Prince fan. I used to play all his hits then such as 1999, Let’s Go Crazy, Erotic City and a whole lot more. God is forming a band up there in Heaven and is assembling the best of them. Rest in peace Prince. Your music will live on forever

Dearly beloved
We are gathered here today
To get through this thing called life

Electric word life
It means forever and that’s a mighty long time
But I’m here to tell you
There’s something else
The after world

A world of never ending happiness
You can always see the sun, day or night

So when you call up that shrink in Beverly Hills
You know the one, Dr. Everything’ll Be Alright
Instead of asking him how much of your time is left
Ask him how much of your mind, baby

‘Cause in this life
Things are much harder than in the after world
In this life
You’re on your own

And if the elevator tries to bring you down
Go crazy, punch a higher floor
