Extron MVC 121 Plus

I saw this installed in a client’s place once and I thought that something like this would make a great addition to my audio arsenal. The Extron MVC 121 Plus is a compact, three input stereo audio mixer featuring a digital signal processing platform for audio signal mixing and control. The MVC 121 Plus features a stereo line level input and two mic/line level inputs with 48 volt phantom power for condenser microphones, plus fixed and variable stereo line level outputs. It offers gain, filter, tone processing, and parametric EQ. The MVC 121 Plus is ideal for presentation applications that require line and microphone audio mixing with DSP in a small form factor.

Speaking of DSP, the DSP built into the MVC 121 Plus provides wide dynamic range and utilises 24-bit audio converters with 48 kHz sampling. This can be configured by connecting to it by your PC to configure it, as seen in the screen-capture above. You can even turn on phantom power from here.

First of all, it is small. Secondly, just set it and forget it. Thirdly, it has a variable volume control. What more can you ask for? get more details here.
