An earthquake hit Aceh, the northernmost tip of the huge Sumatra island, pretty badly earlier today. It registered 5 on the Richter scale. It brings back memories of that earthquake in December 2004 that caused tsunamis in many parts of South-East Asia, killing many people. This earthquake today killed more than 100 people, and more were feared dead. Many of the victims crushed to death in their homes as they slept. It is a sad day indeed and let us hope and pray that the trapped ones can be freed.
