Traffic warden booking a goods lorry
We have very overzealous traffic wardens here in Singapore, as can be seen in the picture. Here I was, on a public bus, going back to my office on this afternoon a couple of weeks back. Apparently, this goods lorry was parked next to a building, obviously doing a delivery of sorts. When he came down, he saw this traffic warden about to book him for parking there. He quickly ran to his vehicle, made a gesture of “sorry” to the traffic warden and proceeded to drive away as quickly as possible. The traffic warden was only doing his job, as far as I can see. That lorry could have parked somewhere else. But then again, that goods lorry is pretty high and there is a height restriction for many carparks. So from what I can say, the traffic warden could have been a little more lenient.
