Teh halia or ginger tea

Sometimes, what you need a is a dose of ginger-laced tea, or “teh halia” as it is called here in these parts of the world. There is nothing as refreshing as a hot cup of tea with the taste of ginger in it. It can really perk up your day and perk up my day it surely did! I had this at the famous tea stall at Baghdad Street near Arab Street. This stall is one of the better “teh tarik” stalls and is very popular among tourists. The stall has no name and this is picture of what it looks like:

So go there if you can and get yourself a cup. You will not be disappointed
