Electric Light Orchestra keyboardist Richard Tandy dies at 76 years old

I really had a shock this morning when I heard the news about Electric Light Orchestra’s keyboardist Richard Tandy passing away. He played a range of keyboard instruments including the clavinet and the Minimoog synthesizer. Richard Tandy’s riffs provided the foundations for some of E.L.O.’s most famous songs such as Evil Woman, Mr Blue Sky and many others. Jeff Lynne was the one who made the announcement about Richard Tandy’s death in a social media post. Rest in peace Mr Tandy. ELO will not sound the same without you.
